Although the term "douchebag" didn't always mean what means today, douchebags have been around forever.

Ranging from the 1940s to today, the above video takes the viewer on a journey through eight decades of douchebaggery, including everything from mustaches to mullets to man buns. It's a nice little reminder that we aren't alone with our modern-day douches, and that people have been dealing with these guys for generations.

Sure, the styles change over time but that smug, punchable face never fades.
