Star Wars Battlefront II spent a long time in the limelight during EA's E3 press conference today, showing off intense multiplayer battles on the planet Naboo and teasing a new single player story mode.

Battlefront II will feature battles that span the entire series including the battle of Naboo from The Phantom Menace featuring Darth Maul and a fight between Rey and Kylo Ren from The Force Awakens. The battle of Naboo includes multiple phases between the clones and separatists.

You can see all the action here (the Star Wars stuff starts about 1 hour and 15 minutes in):

The developers at DICE promised that they listened to both positive and "constructive" feedback (read: negative) from Star Wars Battlefront players when developing Battlefront 2, leading to things improvements in the diversity of weapons and customization options for hero characters' abilities.

Additionally, all post-launch DLC will be free. This includes new maps, new characters, and new vehicles.

During the press conference, Star Wars actor John Boyega revealed that the new planet Crait -- seen in the trailer for The Last Jedi -- will be playable in the game's first free DLC pack along with the villain Captain Phasma and his own character, Finn.
