Turns out bears have been just as vain as the rest of us, all along.

YouTuber Tom Scott recently paid a visit to the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, Montana, where they test out "bear resistant" products – trash containers, for instance – by smearing them with tasty treats and placing them in a pen with real bears.

Scott previously filmed a test using two GoPro cameras, one of which was chomped on by a bear and carried off into a pond. The good news? The camera survived, and the footage shows some glorious close-ups of said bear's inquisitive face.
