One of the best sister trios since Charmed, Haim, has released a rare new in-studio video steered by Boogie Nights and There Will Be Blood director Paul Thomas Anderson.

The new short film, Valentine, was released on Monday, after premiering in New York and Los Angeles in July, reports Rolling Stone. The 14-minute film features rare footage of Este, Danielle and Alana Haim recording of three songs from their latest LP Something to Tell You.

The clip kicks off with an already released in-studio early recording of single "Right Now," featuring Este and Alana going absolutely ham on the percussion. Seriously, during the whole film, watching all three Haim sisters smash the drums is a delight.

Then you're up for a rendition of the album's eponymous yacht rock track "Something to Tell You," followed by the Trisha Yearwood-meets-Fleetwood Mac tune "Something's Wrong."

How did Anderson get involved? Apparently he was their mom's art student when he was a kid.
