A high school band had the most unexpected cover of Heart's iconic anthem.
Nick, the lead vocalist for Nick and the Groove, walked on stage in an unassuming turquoise button-down shirt. Then, he blew away the internet with his incredible pipes.
The band of 15 to 18-year-old high schoolers has been performing at local bars and restaurants around their native Houston all summer. Although their live audience seems pretty chill watching the kids nail the "Barracuda" cover, Reddit was amazed.
"Damn who put this band together, Jack Black?" u/ToiletPudding asked.
In the first 30 seconds, Nick crushed the opening bars, flawlessly hitting every note. Erich, the guitar player, performed what one Redditor called a "clean af" guitar solo.
All of r/videos agreed that the teenagers had a bright musical career ahead of them. t the very least, a crew of internet fans backing them up.
