Valentine's Day gets ultra-violent in Heart Eyes, an upcoming slasher film from director Josh Ruben (Werewolves Within) and the producers of Scream.

Heart Eyes stars Olivia Holt (Totally Killer) and Mason Gooding (Scream) as a couple whose Valentine's Day plans are interrupted by the notorious Heart Eyes Killer. The killer resurfaces every Feb. 14 to kill unsuspecting lovebirds, all while rocking a spooky mask with heart-shaped eyeholes and some gnarly heart-tipped arrows. Fittingly, the trailer describes the Heart Eyes Killer as "Cupid, with a kink."

With this love-hating murderer on the loose, no couple is safe. But could Holt and Gooding have what it takes to bring the Heart Eyes Killer to justice?

Heart Eyes hits theaters Feb. 7.
