Get your tissues out, folks. This short film about a teenage mother will bring a tear to your eye.

Written and performed by Emmet Kirwan, Heartbreak tells the story of a young woman's struggle to cope with pregnancy and motherhood in Ireland -- a country where abortion is illegal, with limited exceptions.

It's not all sad tears, though. The films also carries a message of hope that one day the cycle of oppression against women will be broken.
