If you're like me, you grew up watching 8-year-old Kevin McCallister effortlessly thwart a violent home burglary after being forgotten and left behind by his vacation-bound family. Surprisingly, it was a heartwarming tale.

However, if you're also like me, you also grew up wondering how Harry nonchalantly takes a crowbar to the chest and doesn't wake up in the morgue the next day. Or how Old Man Marley knocks the Wet Bandits unconscious with a metal shovel and they both manage to live on to appear in the sequel.

Well there's some good news: you no longer have to live in blissful ignorance. YouTube user BitMassive has reimagined the film with blood and needless to say, it's uh...much shorter.

There's also a part two.
