Gadget repair site and community iFixit got its hands on the new iPhone 11 Pro and gave it their trademark teardown treatment, revealing some fascinating and yet unsurprising insight into how the smartphone is put together.
The site's teardowns are incredibly popular among tech fans, and for good reason: not only are they exhaustive and informative, they help the average tech consumer understand their (very) expensive gadgets and how to fix them.
The iPhone 11 Pro teardown revealed that, yes, the battery is definitely bigger this time around while the iPhone 11 Pro Max teardown revealed a "non-definitive" confirmation of Apple's claim that it has 4GB of RAM. Overall, the iPhone 11 Pro Max received a repairability rating of 6, the same as last year's models.
