Life is a struggle when you're surrounded by messages of body-negativity. But Jack the wombat pays no attention to the negative messages out there. Be like Jack.

Weighing in at a proud 10 kilograms (22 pounds), Jack is too heavy for his carers at ACT Wildlife, Australia, to bend over and pick up.

To counteract this (and to satiate a desire for cuddles), Jack has been trained to climb up on a small step ladder, so keepers don't have to bend as much when scooping the burly marsupial up for a hug.

The not-for-profit organisation play a vital role in caring for orphaned and injured native wildlife in the Canberra region, and Jack's carer says that using the footstool helps with his socialising. "We spend an hour or two every afternoon in the garden playing while he grazes," she wrote on YouTube.

The little wombat seems to have an affinity for the occasional plastic footstool too. And you thought wombats were muddle-headed!
