Whatever the hell is going on in this video, you're gonna want to watch until the end.

"Jacob and the Giraffe" is the latest surreal 3D animated short to come from the YouTube channel Cool 3D World. The web project is the brainchild of Brian Tessler and Jon Baken, artists with a penchant for creating intensely weird and often grotesque films. They initially rose to fame on Vine, but have grown a large fanbase since from their YouTube channel.

This bizarre work envisions a Tarzan-like human named Jacob, who has an, uh, very special relationship with a giraffe (who stands on its hind legs and can also somehow fly)?.

Like many of their previous shorts, the animation is technically and creatively quite good. But it just makes you ask "why?"

Though maybe it doesn't have to be all that deep! Sometimes what the world needs is a video about what happens when a giraffe and a human/lizard/whatever like each other very much.
