The 2020 Met Gala was due to take place on Monday, but due to coronavirus it's been indefinitely postponed.
The good news? James Corden decided to create his own version using some extremely glamorous pets.
In the video above from The Late Late Show, Corden and fashion expert Brad Goreski comment on a series of home videos sent in by people eager to showcase their pet's red carpet prowess.
"The Met Gala red carpet has become a place where you can make a very bold statement and I think Baby really does this," says Goreski at one point, over a clip of what appears to be a chihuahua wearing a festive red cape.
Glorious viewing all round.
