James Corden's enthusiasm for Christmas music prompts his staff to turn on him

James Corden and his staff have been getting into a lot of arguments recently.

First there was their disagreement about Halloween (which Corden hates), then there was their disagreement about Halloween costumes (which Corden also hates), and now that Halloween is over we've immediately moved on to Christmas (which Corden loves). Specifically, the music.

"It's the worst genre of music in existence," says writer Louis Waymouth, a frequent sparring partner of Corden's. And when the Late Late Show host pushes back, saying he knows Waymouth loves Christmas?

"It's alright. Not like you, you just go apeshit for it."

Moment later a member of the band who also hates Christmas music chips in, and Corden finally loses patience.

"Keep going," he says. "Keep going and I won't just remove Christmas music, I'll remove music from this show."
