The Harris-Trump presidential debate was every bit as dramatic as expected, with Kamala Harris landing a whole host of shots on former president Donald Trump.

"Kamala was pushing his buttons like a 12-year-old playing Fortnite," says a gleeful Jimmy Kimmel in the monologue above, from Tuesday night's show. "This was a much better debate than the last debate. This was like The Lion King when Simba came back to avenge Mufasa."

Like Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart did in their monologues, Kimmel inevitably draws attention to Trump's unhinged (and false) comments about immigrants "eating the dogs".

"I want you to close your eyes and imagine you've never heard of Donald Trump before, and the first time you've ever seen him was during tonight's debate," says Kimmel. "What would your reaction be right now?"

For more on the debate, you can read about Colbert's live monologue, and Stewart's live monologue.
