Jimmy Kimmel may be back on TV, but the conversation about his suspension — which reportedly lost Disney 1.7 million subscribers before they put him back on air — continues.

In the monologue above filmed during a special week of shows in New York, Kimmel plays a clip of vice president JD Vance saying Jimmy Kimmel Live! wasn't aired by certain stations because the host is "not funny".

"I have some good news for you J-Dog, we're back on all the stations," responds Kimmel, referencing the news that TV station owners Nexstar and Sinclair are once again airing Kimmel's show. He goes on to play another clip of Vance arguing that advertisers don't like Kimmel "because his ratings aren't very good."

"My ratings aren't very good?" responds Kimmel. "Last time I checked, your ratings were somewhere between a hair in your salad and chlamydia."
