"Donald Trump... is not... a cannibal." Great start Jon!

After Trump complained that he wasn't getting equal airtime on talk shows, Stephen Colbert granted his wish. All in the interest of fairness, of course. Needful Things style.

Colbert got comedy veteran Jon Stewart to be his official counterweight. So when Colbert starts bagging on the president, Stewart has to think of something positive to say about him. His own particular brand of silver lining involves the hypothetical situation "given the choice between having hot lava poured into my pee-hole, and Donald Trump being president... I choose lav-- the latter."

Colbert kept pitching Stewart all the latest Trumpisms, including morongate and the recent rolling back of birth control. However, following the footage of Trump posing with military leaders and their spouses where Trump alludes to a mysterious "calm before the storm" Stewart loses it.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS GUY?!" yells Stewart, asking desperately "what kind of a sociopath would use that terminology while people are still literally cleaning up from storms!"

Finally it was Colbert's turn to be the Trump-positive side of the act. He mustered this much, "Donald Trump... is not... a cannibal." Good job guys, keen the even-handedness coming!
