Amidst the malarkey, worlds collided at the Democratic debate on Wednesday.

Presidential candidate Marianne Williamson, who just yesterday told a kid reporter her cat died, peppered a debate response with a Seinfeld reference. "I don't think the Democratic party should be surprised that so many Americans believe yada, yada, yada," she said.

Veep actor Julia Louis-Dreyfus, known for wielding this catchphrase as Elaine Benes in the legendary '90s sitcom, thought the whole moment "bizarre," watching it with Jimmy Kimmel. She does, after all, play Vice President Selina Meyer in the HBO series too.

"I guess she's gonna pick me as her running mate? Is that what that means?" she said to Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday night. The late night show host suggested if anything, Williamson would be Meyers' running mate.

"It's bizarre. It's kind of like worlds colliding and then some, right?" she said. "It'll be weird when they say, 'No soup for you!'"
