To be fair, the World Series is a pretty big deal.
Kate Upton and her husband Justin Verlander appeared on The Tonight Show on Friday night and revealed what is possibly the biggest ever double-booking of their lives. On the day the couple were meant to be wed in Italy, Verlander was actually scheduled to play game seven of the World Series.
Considering the fact that Verlander's team the Houston Astros went on to win, it was probably a good call.
