Dashcam captures harrowing footage of a toddler falling out of van onto highway

Parents might want to buckle their kids securely after watching this video that shows a Chinese toddler falling out of the back of a van onto a busy highway in Suzhou, China.

To make things worse, the driver of the van initially had no clue that the boy had fallen off and continued to drive away, while the surprisingly unhurt boy chased after the vehicle.

Thankfully, the driver whose dashcam caught the harrowing footage immediately slammed on his brakes and got out of the car to rescue the boy.

We're happy to report that the boy was safely returned to his grateful grandfather -- the driver of the van -- who told People's Daily that the boot door was damaged, and his grandson fell out after climbing over the backseat unnoticed.
