Kaley Cuoco proves to be the queen of the “I can fix him’s” in Alex Lehmann’s Meet Cute, traveling back in time, time and time again, to go on dates with Pete Davidson.
In an interesting marriage between About Time and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Meet Cute sees Sheila (Cuoco), a girl from the future, going back in time to recreate the perfect first meet cute with Gary (Davidson). But while she’s memorized his drink order, one-liners, and repeated jokes, Sheila insists that Gary still isn’t perfect and is determined to fix him by seemingly going back even further in time to erase all his baggage away.
And as anyone that’s dated a “nobody understands me” would know, Sheila, you can’t fix him.
