A jewelry store owner in India thought he was doing a good deed when he offered a treat to a monkey outside his shop.

But this was no ordinary monkey. This was a hardened criminal.

According to security camera footage, the monkey accepted the piece of fruit before pushing open the door, kicking back in a desk chair for a moment, then casually making away with 10,000 rupees (just over $150 USD).

If anyone sees a monkey that has suddenly become very wealthy, please alert the authorities.
