Reminder: The legendary Muhammad Ali always had the same number of hours in the day as we do.

A bit of vintage footage currently recirculating the Internet shows Ali's thought-provoking response to an audience question when he was visiting the UK in 1977: "What are you going to do when you retire from boxing?"

After a brief bout of silly snoring sounds (because who wouldn't need a nap after an Ali-level career?), Ali got serious. "Life is not really long," he said.

"Let's say the average person is 30 years old. If you're 30 years old, you're not but about seven years old," he continued — accounting for sleep time, classroom hours and time spent consuming entertainment, of course.

"In 30 more years I'll be 65," he added. "In those 30 years, I have to sleep nine years ... I have to travel ... out of 30 years, I might have about 16 years to be productive.

"What's the best thing I can do? Get ready to meet God," he said.

Well, that answered that.
