Things are heating up in Apple TV+'s sci-fi comedy Murderbot.

At the end of episode 4, Murderbot (Alexander Skarsgård) realized that hostile SecUnits from an unknown enemy had hijacked it with a combat override module that would have forced it to kill the PresAux research team. In order to prevent this, it shot itself. But don't worry, Murderbot is still alive and well — OK, maybe just alive.

In an exclusive clip from the upcoming episode 5, titled "Rogue War Tracker Infinite," Murderbot finds itself under the care of the PresAux team. That includes the ever-suspicious Gurathin (David Dastmalchian), who appears to have had access to Murderbot's internal data while it was unconscious from its injury. Could he have discovered that Murderbot has hacked its governor module?

He's certainly discovered one of Murderbot's other secrets: its obsession with the space soap opera The Rise and Fall of Sanctuary Moon. In the clip above, PresAux's Ratthi (Akshay Khanna) tests Murderbot on its knowledge of the show's deepest cuts, much to Gurathin's disdain. (He thinks the show is "crap," but it might not be a good idea to say that in front of Murderbot.)

With their new knowledge of Murderbot's binging habits, how long will it take for PresAux to learn the rest of Murderbot's secrets?

Murderbot is now streaming on Apple TV+, with new episodes every Friday.
