Celebrities: they're just like us. No, really.

Nick Jonas became even more universally revered when he unwittingly performed at this year's Grammys with spinach stuck in his teeth. The food was so visibly entangled in his gnashers that the internet spotted it and, thankfully, chose to stan the spinach.

In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Jonas laughed off the moment and said that no one checked his teeth before he went on stage. "So here's the thing that's really frustrating about this. First of all there was spinach in my teeth from my breakfast, which I ate hours before. So the entire day, no one thought to be like 'hey man, there's something back there.'"

Jonas said that a few weeks ago he was doing an interview with his brothers and they both revealed that they checked each other's teeth before they went on stage. "They left me out of it," he said.

He also revealed how he discovered that he had something stuck in his teeth. He checked his phone and had a text from Maroon 5's Adam Levine.

"Nice performance, you had a little schmutz in your teeth," read the text.

"It just goes to show that you can be performing on the Grammys, and be nominated, and still have spinach in your teeth," added Jonas.

Whatever keeps you grounded, Nick.
