The year is 2021. Lil Nas X has released the 97th remix of "Old Town Road." All is right with the world.

Maybe not. But if there are any constants in the world right now, it's that everyone wants to ride the wave of yeehaw energy from Lil Nas X's smash hit. The latest remix bandwagon jump featured Young Thug and viral star Mason Ramsey.

But how many Old Town Roads are too many? Everyone from Dolly Parton to Guy Fieri seem to want to get the horses in the back. When will we hit a critical mass of roads?

Apparently not for the foreseeable future — old YouTube legends of song parody and autotune, schmoyoho, have thrown their cowboy hats into the mix. According to the video they stole the remix, stole a time machine from Area 51, and brought the first three minutes back to 2019.

There are 14 celebs represented by their respective Animojis, including Barack Obama, Katy Perry, The Pope, Oprah, Smashmouth, and Rick Astley.

Maybe we can get Lil Nas X to move this remix up to a 2019 drop.
