This city goes above and beyond with celebrating a lot more than just pumpkin carvings and pie eating contests.

Tualatin, Oregon, celebrated their 14th annual West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta festival on Saturday. The all-day event ends with giant pumpkins racing against each other with the paddlers dressed in Halloween costumes. To be clear, these people take enormous pumpkins, carve out a space for themselves, and then use them like they were kayaks.

Many started to sink, while others (very slowly) made their way through the lake in the pouring rain for the race.

The winner sadly only receives bragging rights. They should win so much more because how in the hell do you ride those things??
