It's been a strange time for comedian Patton Oswalt, as his late wife Michelle McNamara's newly published true crime book I'll Be Gone in the Dark is very much in the spotlight after the arrest of a man suspected to be the Golden State Killer.

Oswalt was a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers on the night following the arrest. "The bracelets are on," said Oswalt, "and it feels like this thing that she wanted so badly is now done."

He also read a section of McNamara's book in which she addressed the killer, predicting his capture as an old man.
