"Did this dipshit really show up in full cosplay mode?"

John Cena is back (and getting completely and rudely dunked on?) in his shiny helmet as Peacemaker in the first spinoff TV series for the DC Cinematic Universe.

Created by James Gunn, the series will spin-off from The Suicide Squad, at the end of which we weren't quite sure what would happen to everyone, including Peacemaker.

HBO released a clip from the upcoming show featuring Peacemaker meeting a group he's apparently going to work with on some mission, in full uniform. Naturally, he brought his bald eagle pal, Eagly, to the meeting (left him in the car don't worry), much to the dismay of his new allies.

With Cena, the show stars Danielle Brooks, Chukwudi Iwuji, Steve Agee, Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland, and Freddie Stroma.

Peacemaker comes to HBO Max in January 2022.
