Okay, sure, this fluffy little puppers doesn't want his owner to leave on a vacation that's likely all "No Dogs Allowed."
But, really, has there been a better metaphor for the current state of affairs in the U.S. than this little guy?
Just as he clings desperately to his human's leg, begging him not to go to Hawaii, Italian wine country, Mars, or whatever utopia we can't possibly get to, so, too, do we cling to our last shred of sanity in these days of a world turned into a giant garbage fire.
Hang in there, little guy, and don't let go.
