And Just Like That... the announcement has arrived.

The next chapter of Sex and the City has been sought after, questioned, but mostly very much discussed. The reboot has now been revealed to premiere on HBO Max this December.

"Hello from New York City, Fifth Avenue!" title star Sarah Jessica Parker says in the clip, with the original show's iconic tune playing in the background. The revival will allegedly explore Parker and the rest of the SATC gang (barring Samantha — sorry!) as they navigate love and life in their 50s. Not to sound like a Carrie, but I can't help but wonder how the reboot will fare without Kim Cattrall.

Nevertheless, super-fans are in for a familiar treat with the rest of the cast making a comeback. Members of the notorious love triangle, Mr. Big and Aidan, are supposedly reprising their roles. As was the much-loved Willie Garson, who played Stanford Blatch on the show, and recently passed away.

The video offers behind-the-scenes footage of the Parker and her co-stars Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, who Parker calls her "beloved friends". And just like that...we're excited.
