A group of engineering students at McMaster University created 'sKan', a proof-of-concept designed to detect the thermal energy of skin cancer.
Developed by Michael Takla, Rotimi Fadiya. Shivad Bhavsar, and Prateek Mathur, 'sKan' may one day increase early detection of melanoma and create a non-invasive way to diagnose the prevalent condition.
