A nearby lightning strike is sure to spook anyone, even a squirrel.

Security footage from a Nest cam recently released shows a little critter hopping along, minding its own business when lightning suddenly strikes close by.

Luckily the squirrel was on the other side of the street, but check out its reaction. Let's hope lightning doesn't strike near the same squirrel twice.
