Stephen Colbert's back from a short hiatus, and boy, did he miss a week.

The Late Show host jumped straight back into the news cycle with a look at the longest presidential speech in American history, Donald Trump's two-hour-and-two-minute speech at Saturday's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

Colbert called the speech's record length "impressive, because some of Obama's pauses were almost an hour."

Of course, like Saturday Night Live before him, Colbert couldn't help but pick out Trump's weird flag hug before opening the speech.

"I believe that is the first time a flag has ever volunteered to be burned," he quipped.

"It went over big in the room, the whole flag-hugging thing, except with Don Jr. who shouted, 'I hate the new baby! Take it back.'"
