Stephen Colbert wisely resurfaces video of Trump butchering 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game'

Every sitting U.S. president has thrown the first pitch at at least one Major League Baseball game since President Taft started the tradition in 1910. But not Donald Trump. He has "scheduling conflicts." Sure.

If you've ever seen photos of Trump's previous pitching attempts, they make a pretty clear case for why Trump (and his ego) would turn the opportunity down. Pair that with Trump's abysmal approval ratings in Washington, D.C., and it becomes even clearer.

But what if Trump just doesn't want to be forced to sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game?" After all, he did really butcher it in 2000 -- and, yes, Stephen Colbert has wisely resurfaced that very clip.

What if this is what Putin has on him?
