It doesn't get much more British than Stephen Fry talking about Sherlock.

During a Twitter Q & A to promote his audiobook Sherlock Holmes: The Definitive Collection, the legendary British actor was asked which modern day mystery he'd want the to see the detective solve. Fry responded that he'd like to put a character like Holmes into a "new ministry" that deals with Artificial Intelligence.

"Now we're moving into an age in which office work is slowly going to be done more and more by artificial intelligence -- immensely complex things," says Fry in the video above.

"You need someone like a Holmes -- someone with an absolute clarity over the ethics and the metaphysics and the ontology and the epistemology -- all those grand 'ology' words [...] all those ideas need to be looked at."

Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman sneaking around a building full of robots could be sort of fun, couldn't it?
