Another year, another Only Murders in the Building cast appearance on The Tonight Show that quickly turns into one giant roast.

"We're here because we love you," Martin Short tells Jimmy Fallon in the clip above. "And we're also here because [Stephen] Colbert has gotten a little pickier."

The interview with Short and his co-stars Steve Martin and Selena Gomez continues in the same vein with the cast taking cheeky jabs at Fallon and each other, from Short telling the host he's "shattered the glass ceiling for white, middle-aged guys in showbusiness" to Gomez explaining how she has to repeat every instruction the director gives Martin and Short on set "about 20 percent louder."
