See Sylvester Stallone as Kevin in this 'Home Alone' hilariously weird deepfake
Watch Next

Going into the next decade, we must all be cautious of deepfakes; the tech is alarmingly dangerous and, not to mention, pretty creepy. But this uncanny valley of a medium does have one upside: Seemingly any actor can be swapped for one another in a movie scene.

This concept is the bread and butter for YouTube channel Ctrl Shift Face, which has a myriad of videos all with actors playing classic characters they never actually played. Leonardo DiCaprio in No Country for Old Men? Done! Brad Pitt in The Room? Here you go!

Ctrl Shift Face's latest video dropped on Christmas Eve, and what tidings it brings. Home Stallone, a Home Alone deepfake with Sylvester Stallone as a few characters in the Christmas classic. Mostly, of course, he plays Kevin, replacing Macaulay Culkin's boyish face with...Stallone's very adult face. Seeing Stallone's smolder on such a tiny frame, eating ice cream and running amok, is jarring and unsettling — just as deepfakes are in general — but nonetheless, impossible not to watch.

A true Christmas gift for us all!
