Apple TV+ has just released a claymation Ted Lasso Christmas short, featuring the AFC Richmond staff searching for the titular character's lost mustache.

"The Missing Christmas Mustache" sees the gang attempting to hunt down Ted's famous "snot mop" after it mysteriously disappears, with even Nate joining in (notably sans gray hair and his newfound head coach bravado). It's a Christmas emergency, as the newly bare-lipped soccer coach fears his son Henry won't recognise him during their scheduled video call.

"It's gonna ruin Christmas!" Ted dramatically laments.

Voiced by cast members Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Jeremy Swift, Phil Dunster, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, Nick Mohammed, and Juno Temple, the five-minute short fortunately comes to a joyful end when the power of a Christmas moral lesson causes Ted to spontaneously sprout a new lip rug.

"It's not about making Christmas perfect for the people you love, it's the people you love that make Christmas perfect," says Ted.
