The Witcher is receiving its very own stage adaptation in Poland and this preview makes it look absolutely insane.

The Witcher, best known outside of Central and Eastern Europe as an acclaimed fantasy RPG, is based on a popular Polish book series of the same name (a.k.a. Wiedźmin). The musical, coming to the Teatr Muzyczny im. Danuty Baduszkowej, doesn't appear to shy away from the action and occasional brutality of the series. Just in this short clip, we see someone holding up a severed head prop and the actor playing Geralt throwing what appears to be a child actor off the front of the stage.

The musical is intended for people aged 15 and older and has a staggering runtime of three-and-a-half hours. It opens in November.
