As the China National Space Administration's Tianwen-1 mission entered Mars' orbit on Wednesday, it shared video footage of the feat back to Earth, which was shared with the world two days later on Friday.

While cameras on spacecraft don't typically take selfies, there's something fun about seeing Tianwen-1 take a video of itself whizzing over Mars' craterous surface.

Tianwen-1 is one of three missions that Earthlings have examining Mars this year, but it's the only one that contains both an orbiter and a lander/rover. Tianwen-1 is scheduled to remain in orbit for another 10 days before its lander/rover detaches and begins its descent.
