The dog that was accidentally flown to Japan reunited with his family, and it is pure bliss

For once, a United Airlines pet story got a happy ending.

Earlier this week, Irgo the German shepherd was accidentally placed on a United flight to Japan, instead of to his intended destination of Kansas City. When his family went to pick him up in Missouri, they were presented with a great dane.

The airline said that this mishap occurred during the connections in Denver. But never fear -- it all worked out in the end.

Irgo was reunited with his family and was super duper excited to see them. There's hugs and dog kisses, and it's 25 seconds of pure bliss.

According to his family, Irgo was flown back via private charter and treated "like a king."
