Artifact is Valve Corporation's first new game that isn't a VR tech demo to be announced since Dota 2, which released in 2013. And... well... it's not called Half-Life 3.

That last point is likely what prompted the hilarious group response in the above video, featuring the immediate aftermath of Artifact's reveal at Valve's annual Dota 2 tournament, The International. Though to be fair, the crowd could also be taking a position on the seemingly unending onslaught of collectible card games.

That's what Artifact amounts to, based on the little revealed so far. It's a competitive card game based on Dota 2, and it's coming in 2018.
