Amy Schumer advocates for gun control by declining to wear underwear
Today is National Gun Violence Awareness Day, and everyone from Barack Obama to Kim Kardashian is participating in the #WearOrange movement to bring attention to the cause.
Amy Schumer, a vocal advocate for the cause, knows there is one thing that always gets attention: butts. And so she posted a selfie wearing just an orange sports bra. Well, she says it's orange. It looks more pink in the photo, but that might just be the filter.

The issue became personal for her after a gunman opened fire during a screening of her movie, Trainwreck, and two people lost their lives. Since then, she's been working with her cousin, Sen. Chuck Schumer, to fight for new gun control legislation.
Schumer also Instagrammed a couple photos of her wearing a color that is definitely orange, like this shot from Trainwreck.
Scumer captioned a photo of her and friends wearing orange to pay tribute to the victims of the movie theater shooting, "thinking of you every day Mayci and Jillan."
Plenty of other celebrities like Julianne Moore and Spike Lee are joining Everytown's movement and posting selfies for the cause.
