Banana milk coffee is your autumn obsession
If you are already sick of the PSL, don't despair. There is a newer, cooler kid on the block ready to take the spotlight.
Meet banana milk coffee, a combination of bananas, milk, cold brew coffee and simple syrup. It's creamy, sweet and now available at Brooklyn's J+B Design & Cafe.
Store manager Fumio Tashiro tells Eater the idea for the drink came from reading an article about Brazilian banana drinks. Though the banana milk coffee has been on the menu for a year, it's only recently started to take off. He currently sells about 50 of them per week, at $5 each.
