Amazon is basically paying you to pick up a Dash button

Ahead of Prime Day (which kicks off at 3 a.m. EDT on July 12), Amazon has a VERY good deal on its Dash buttons.

Dash buttons are normally priced at $4.99, and they come with a $4.99 credit on the first item you order. It basically makes the button free. But today, Dash buttons are just 99 cents. Even better, you STILL get $4.99 in credit for your first press.

So in essence, Amazon is paying you to get a Dash button. For deal lovers out there, this isn’t a bad way to save $4 off of toilet paper, garbage bags or some pita chips.

Released last year, Dash buttons are a great way to quickly re-order your favorite products from Amazon. Press the button and it will automatically create an order for you for a product you’ve selected in the Amazon app.

Amazon has more than 150 Dash buttons for everything from macaroni and cheese to condoms to Play-Doh. You need to be a Prime member to take advantage of these buttons -- which will ship products out to you in two-days or fewer.

These buttons might be designed to just make us even more lazy – but I’m a fan.
