Dog's dream to ride on subway foiled by party-pooper station staff

It sure looks like this puppy needs to get tips from Tokyo's train-savvy kitty on how to ride the subway like a boss.

One dog in Kyoto, Japan, thought it had cleverly evaded station staff at Kitaoji station when it went through the ticket barriers and tried to hitch a ride on the subway.

Unfortunately, the dog only got as far the subway platform before a staff member spotted it and proceeded to carry it out of the station.

The whole incident was captured by Japanese Twitter user @jun_rit314 and the pup's "nooooooooo" reaction as it was unceremoniously booted out of the station is absolutely priceless.

According to RocketNews, Japan is relatively more tolerant of cats than dogs in public spaces. We don't really get why though, because all cute animals should be our friends.
