Every once in awhile hubris gets the best of humans, and we think it's okay just hang out with alligators.

"I am a human, but I am also friends with this gator," one might think.

Well let me assure you, that is definitely not the case, as this vacationing couple got to learn firsthand, after getting their boat stuck near one.

With ill-advised confidence, the boaters saw the alligator and took out their phone to Facebook Live the close connection their shared.

The alligator did not appreciate this.

Yeah, hell no.

Please take this as a lesson and just stay away from alligators, or maybe just the water in general. We clearly do not belong there and they clearly do not want us there.
