Those multi-coloured balls aren't just random blocks of plastic -- they're actually the toy containers found in Kinder Eggs, thousands of which apparently washed up on the beach of Langeoog on Wednesday in the aftermath of a storm.
Pictures of the island's beach have been widely shared on social media in the days since.
