In February, LG announced a new line of "Specialist" smartphones, which come with mid-range specs but have one premium feature each.

On Tuesday, the company announced it will be rolling out the first two phones in the series -- the LG X cam and the LG X screen -- this week, starting in South Korea, and following in other "key markets," including Europe, Latin America and Asia.

The X cam is a 5.2-inch device with a 1.14GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a 2,520mAh battery and LTE support. Its area of excellence is, obviously, the camera -- it has a dual back camera, a regular 13-megapixel one coupled with a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens shooter. The front camera, with its 8-megapixel sensor, is nothing to sneer at either.

The X screen has similar specs, though it lacks the dual camera on the back and comes with a slightly smaller battery, with 2,300mAh. It, however, has a dual screen (akin to the one seen on the LG V10), with a 4.93-inch, 720p main display and an additional always-on, 1.76-inch, 520x80 pixel screen.

LG warns that specs and features for these phones may vary depending on the market. The price for either model hasn't been announced, though LG Mobile CEO and President Juno Cho promises it won't "break the bank."
