LG's new X series phones focus on battery, data, screen and style, respectively
When LG announced its new X series of "specialist" smartphones in February, saying each device would focus on precisely one key feature, it wasn't kidding. After launching two such phones in March -- LG X cam and LG X screen -- it has now announced four more devices.
The new phones, called X power, X mach, X style and X max, focus on battery life, data transfer speed, stylish looks and screen size, respectively.
In its press release, LG did not release a full set of specs for any of the devices. Here's what we do know, though:

The LG X power has a 7.9mm body, a huge 4,100mAh battery and fast charging technology, enabling it to charge at "twice the normal speed," according to LG.
The LG X mach supports LTE Cat. 9 3CA data transfer speeds -- that's a theoretical 450Mbps. It also has a 1.8GHz processor, a QHD IPS display and a 1.55μm sensor camera.
The LG X style has "gracefully curving lines and extra slim body," according to LG.
Finally, the LG X max will have a "large" display, and that's all LG was prepared to say about it at this time.
Since there's no shortage of stylish phones with large displays these days, and LTE Cat. 9 is only available in a handful of countries, including Qatar and Australia, the most interesting device in this bunch is probably the LG X power. LG seems to think so as well, as it's the first one to get an accompanying YouTube video (below).
LG says the new phones will roll out later this month in markets "around the world." Pricing has not been announced.
